Commissioner orders price control

Administration has been directed to implement these orders without any fail

KARACHI:

On the orders of the Sindh government, Commissioner Karachi Muhammad Salim Rajput has directed the district administration to provide basic food items to masses at official rates, announced by the government.

The administration has been directed to implement these orders without any fail. All deputy commissioners should take steps to address the complaints of citizens and provide them relief in their respective areas. There should take action against profiteers, hoarders in the city as per law on daily basis and submit report to the commissioner's office.

The commissioner said, "Common people will not be left at the mercy of profiteers and elements responsible for inflation.”
