ABBOTTABAD:

The district administration’s efforts to enforce reduced prices continue across Abbottabad and its surrounding areas to enforce price control measures.

Additional Assistant Commissioner Lubna Iqbal along with a food inspection team conducted a series of inspections in areas across Havelian.

During the inspections, they visited local markets and outlets to inspect bakeries, kebab shops, vegetable and fruit vendors, dairies, milk and yoghurt sellers, general stores, and various other retail outlets.

The teams examined the prices and weights of essential food items to confirm compliance with the prescribed rates.

In a subsequent operation, a livestock team, inspected dairies in the area.

Equipped with mobile labs, the inspection teams verified the quality and adherence to price regulations within the dairy market.

The additional AC supervised the inspections across various markets in the Mirpur and Sarban Kalan areas to ensure compliance in rates listed for essential food items.
