Sports events, rallies held in Balochistan to bring youth into mainstream
In the aftermath of terrorist incidents carried out in Balochistan and to express unity against the terrorists and their facilitators, the provincial government organised several extracurricular activities, including football matches, cricket tournaments and speech contests in a bid to mainstream the youth of the province.
Different rallies were held in various districts of Balochistan where the youth participated overwhelmingly to condemn the sway of terrorism and the role of hostile agencies in masterminding it.
The football matches were held in Hub, Bolan, Kalat and Naseerabad where scores of youths turned up and participated in the matches. Similarly, cricket matches were held in Sibbi, Chagai, Surab, Hub, Panjgur, Barkhan and Kech districts.

To guide the youth of Balochistan in choosing the right career for themselves, counselling sessions were held in Kech district.
Moreover, the Pashtun Culture Day was also celebrated in Quetta and Kech districts where a large number of people from Baloch community participated to render the message that the province was not divided on ethnic lines.
To create awareness about the spread of corruption and ways to curb its menace, various seminars were held in Kech and Harnai districts to sensitise the youth about the white-collar crimes affecting the growth of the province.
Rallies were also organised in Jafferabad, Kohlu, Usta Muhammad, Sohbatpur, Naseerabad and Sui districts condemning the Indian agency RAW for its alleged role in spreading terror across the province.

In addition, two speech contests were held to applaud the role of the armed forces in the development of Balochistan and their efforts to combat terrorism from the forefront.
In the remembrance of martyrs of Mastung who laid down their lives while participating in the Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) procession, last Friday, more rallies and similar events were held in Lasbella, Zhob, Kech, Qila Saifullah, Panjgur, Sherani, Khuzdar, Mastung, Gwadar, Hub and Awaran districts to pay tribute to the departed souls. Over 23,000 people participated in the events.
