Unknown motorcyclists launched an assault on security personnel stationed outside the Insaf House on Shahra-e-Faisal. The attackers, armed with sticks and weapons, subjected the two security personnel to a brutal beating, during which they also tore their uniforms. As they made their getaway, the assailants threw stones at a patrolling police vehicle and even fired shots.
In accordance with the available information, the security personnel on duty outside the Tipu Sultan police station's jurisdiction were confronted by a group of approximately 20 to 25 assailants on motorcycles. These armed individuals not only damaged the uniforms of two police officers but also attempted to seize their firearms. While carrying out their attack, the perpetrators chanted slogans in support of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Their primary demand appeared to be the release of PTI's chairman.
With the arrival of additional police forces, the attackers fled the scene, continuing to throw stones and discharge firearms. Subsequently, the law enforcement authorities conducted a thorough search of the area, leading to the recovery of a 30-bore pistol and four rounds of ammunition.
