LESCO accuses leader of Kisan Etihad Group of in electricity theft in Chunian Division

LAHORE:

Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) found that their customer Abdul Razzaq, a leader of Kisan Etihad Group, was allegedly involved in electricity theft in Chunian Division. A LESCO spokesman told the media person on Tuesday that following instructions from LESCO Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Engineer Shahid Haider, inspection teams and local police are conducting operations against electricity thieves in the entire LESCO region.

During an operation in Chunian Division of Kasur Circle, the LESCO inspection team found that Kisan Etihad Group Abdul Razzaq was stealing electricity directly from a light transmission line (LT) through three illegal 2kV connections.
