Hockey: FIH president to visit India soon
FIH President Leandro Negre will visit India for talks with Sports Ministry officials.

The International Hockey Federation (FIH) President Leandro Negre will visit India for talks with Sports Ministry officials in the wake of the world body’s warning to take away hosting rights of major international events from India, including the Champions Trophy in December. Sports Minister Ajay Maken says top officials of Ministry are in talks with FIH to clear the air. “The joint secretary has written a letter to the FIH and also spoken to Negre and we’re expecting him here,” said Maken.
