They will always be blessed: Ameesha Patel pens prayer for Imran Abbas's late parents

Actors shared heartfelt moment as Imran remembered and prayed for his deceased parents

Imran Abbas recently took to Instagram to share an emotional montage video of himself travelling—as part of his work commitments—arriving at an airport, boarding the plane, landing at his destination, and then eventually returning home to Islamabad to visit his parents’ and sister’s graves. His friend and fellow actor Ameesha Patel was touched by the post and left a sweet comment under it, assuring Imran that his late family members would always be blessed.

With an Islamic hymn playing in the background, the post garnered lots of love and prayers from the Khuda Aur Mohabbat actor’s 8.3 M followers on the photo and video sharing app. “Iraq-Dubai-Islamabad. But no matter where I am, whatever I do, you are always on my mind and the first thing that I do after returning home is visit your graves. O Allah! Please bless my parents and sister the highest ranks in Jannah,” wrote the Amanat actor under his post. Underneath this post, Ameesha commented “They will always be blessed”, followed by prayers emojis.

Imran and Ameesha are known to be good friends, and news broke of their friendship back in September 2022 when the two hosted an Instagram Live session together. At the time, the duo were also spotted spending time together in Bahrain. This sparked dating rumours between the two, which were quickly rubbished by the Kaho Naa…Pyaar Hai star who admitted that they were just good friends. The Gadar: Ek Prem Katha leading lady also shared that the pair’s friendship went way back to when they attended the same college in the US.

While Ameesha is currently riding the wave of mass-popularity and widespread fame following the record-breaking success of her newest film Gadar 2 opposite Sunny Deol, Imran is appearing on television screens across Pakistan in his latest drama serials Ehraam-e-Junoon and Tumharey Husn Ke Naam.
