CPWB protection unit inaugurated

UNICEF and the International Rescue Committee collaborate with local authorities to establish unit for children

In an effort to safeguard the rights and future of children, a Child Protection and Welfare Bureau (CPWB) Office has been established in Rajanpur. Under the guidance of Chairperson Sarah Ahmad, Director General CPWB Aftab Ahmad Khan officially inaugurated the newly established Child Protection Unit on Saturday.

This monumental initiative was realized in collaboration with UNICEF and the International Rescue Committee, an NGO.

Expressing his fervent commitment to the cause, Director General Khan reiterated the pivotal role played by Chairperson CPWB in this endeavour. The establishment of the Child Protection Unit stands as a testament to the shared vision for safeguarding the vulnerable children of the district.

The collaborative efforts between the Child Protection Bureau and the International Rescue Committee (NGO) are set to create a lasting impact on the lives of children, he added.
