The Waziristan Independence Day Jeep Rally, organized by the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Department of Tourism and Culture along with the Tourism Authority, kicked off at the Peshawar Sports Complex with fervor and excitement. The rally embarked on its journey towards the captivating Razmak Valley and the picturesque Gomalzam Dam in Waziristan, featuring a dynamic participation of over 50 4x4 jeeps from across the nation.
Speaking about the event, Director General of Tourism Authority, Barkatullah Marwat, shared, “The rally is set to culminate on August 14, featuring an exhilarating race on a seven-kilometer track at Gomal Zam Dam.” The rally encompasses three distinct categories: Category A comprises race jeeps, Category B includes vehicles with engine capacities of 2,000 cc and above, and Category C embraces zero to 2,000 cc vehicles.
