Deputy Commissioner seeks to seal kilns that fail to adopt zig-zag technology

MULTAN:

Deputy Commissioner Umer Jehangir has directed the environment department to launch a crackdown on brick kilns in a bid to prevent smog.

He emphasised the need to seal brick kilns that fail to adopt zig-zag technology. Umer Jehangir reiterated the provincial government’s zero-tolerance policy against smog and revealed plans to act against stores using polythene bags.
