Two days after issuing forecast that there are no chances of rain till August 15 the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said on Friday there is a possibility of drizzle and light rain over the next three days.
The sky is likely to remain overcast and the weather pleasant in the port city for the next few days, the forecast read. Surjani Town received 1.5 mm of rainfall while strong sea breeze clocking 34km per hour kept blowing on Friday. The highest temperature recorded was 32.5 degrees Celsius after a 2-degree drop.
According to PMD there is a possibility of drizzle and light rain across the city, with the maximum temperature likely between 32 and 34 degrees Celsius over the next two days. Persistent southwest sea breezes are expected in the coming days.
The Khuzdar, Sibi, Jhal Magsi, Dera Murad Jamali, and Kirthar ranges may experience heavy rains due to the influence of the monsoon system. Flooding and water flow are possible in the districts of Dadu, Jamashoro, Qambar Shahdadkot, and Jacobabad.
