Suspect held for abusing minor girl

The Sharah-e-Noor Jehan police have arrested a suspect, accused of sexually assaulting a minor girl in North Nazimabad.
A case has been registered at the police station on the complaint of the victim's father. The complainant, identified as Javed Iqbal, stated that he is a resident of North Nazimabad Block R and works as a tailor.
According to him, on the morning of March 24, while at home at around 10:30am, his five-year-old daughter came home crying and reported that a bearded man from the neighbourhood had done indecent acts with her. The father went to his neighbour Salman. The girl immediately identified him as the person who assaulted her.
Salman was then taken into custody with the help of police. He requested legal action against the accused.
Police have arrested the suspect and handed him over to the Investigation Police for further inquiry.
