Citizen kills fleeing robbers

Two robbers killed, another escapes during exchange of fire with citizen in Gulistan-e-Jauhar

KARACHI:

Two robbers were killed while another managed to escape during an exchange of fire between a citizen and motorcycle-riding suspects in Gulistan-e-Jauhar.

According to the police, three armed robbers, riding a motorcycle, had looted a citizen, Ghaffar, when he had stopped to buy fruits. After the incident, the victim chased them. The robbers opened fire on the pursuing citizen. In response, the citizen, who possessed a licensed pistol, returned fire, leading to a fierce exchange of gunfire.

As a result, two robbers were killed, while their accomplice managed to escape.
