Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced a compensation of Rs200,000 for those injured in accidents caused by the heavy rain in the province.

Mohsin made this announcement during his visit to Ganga Ram Hospital to inquire about individuals injured in the wall collapse incident near Mozang Hospital on Thursday.

Speaking to the media, he informed that the wall of a nearby marriage hall collapsed, resulting in 14 individuals being admitted to Ganga Ram Hospital. Out of the injured, four individuals are in critical condition.

The government is providing free medical treatment to those affected, ensuring they receive the best care possible, he maintained.

He highlighted that the compensation amount of Rs200,000 will be distributed to the injured victims within the next few days.
