Held ‘good meetings’ with Bangladesh president: Alvi

President Dr Arif Alvi on Monday said that he held “good meetings” with Bangladesh President Shahabuddin in Makkah, Mina and Madina.

On his Twitter handle, the president posted two pictures, saying in white [dress] was his childhood friend Salman Rehman, who is now a member of parliament, minister and adviser in Bangladesh.

“We met after 60 years. Blessings of Allah will do wonders for our relationship,” he added.

On Saturday, President Alvi took to Twitter to share a picture of himself standing alongside Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, with both leaders exchanging warm smiles.

The president described the image as a symbol of excellent relationship between the people of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
