JI vows to serve citizens

'No development witnessed during Wahab's tenure as administrator'

Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Ameer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman criticising newly elected Mayor Murtaza Wahab Siddiqui said that Wahab has also served as the administrator in the past, but no significant development was witnessed.

Naeem emphasised the importance of action rather than words, saying that progress is achieved only through hard work. Speaking at a press conference, he assured that his party will continue to serve the people.

He acknowledged that the residents of Karachi are disappointed with the current state of affairs in Pakistan and are even considering leaving the country due to the lack of job opportunities. Naeem the limitations imposed on individuals holding a Karachi domicile, stating that they are not allowed to become leaders in city’s public sector positions.
