Around 170 Sikh pilgrims attended festivities as part of celebrations for Jor Mela

Around 170 Sikh pilgrims attended festivities at the Gurdwara Panja Sahib as part of celebrations for the Jor Mela to mark the 174th death anniversary of the fifth Sikh master, Guru Arjan Dev.

The also visited the tomb of Baba Wali Qandhari, where they were escorted by security teams.

The pilgrims will also visit other holy sites including Gurdwara Nankana Sahib and Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib.

A leader of the pilgrim party, Sardar Gurbachan Singh said Sikhs around the world considered Pakistan their second home. The yatrees also lauded the wi-fi system inside the gurdwara.Upon their arrival, the pilgrims were welcomed by officials of the local administration.
