Kahuta has recently experienced a disturbing surge in criminal activities, with murder, robbery, and theft becoming increasingly prevalent.

In a tragic incident, Zaheer, a resident of Majhan, suffered the loss of his young son, Khayyam, during a horrific robbery near Salambartar Road Naryal. The incident involved eight armed robbers who targeted Kahuta businessman Malik Shehzad and other individuals, brandishing firearms and making off with a substantial sum of Rs1.3 million.

Malik Shehzad, the owner of a meat shop located at Muthoot Chowk, was returning from a livestock purchase when he fell victim to the robbery. The assailants subjected him to torture before making their escape near Kalman Morr dumpster.

This incident is just one among a series of brazen daylight robberies that have occurred in Kahuta's bustling market.
