35-year-old woman's body recovered from a deserted location near Askari-XI

LAHORE:

The body of a 35-year-old woman was recovered from a deserted location within Hayer police limits on Wednesday. A passerby had spotted the body dumped near Askari-XI and alerted police. A team reached the spot and moved it to a morgue for an autopsy.

The victim’s body bore marks of torture. Police said that they were investigating the matter and trying to ascertain the victim’s identity and cause of death.
