The Additional IG Karachi along with some police officers made surprise visits to various markets of the city including Tariq Road, KDA Market in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Hydari and Liaquatabad and reviewed the security arrangements.
The police chief directed the officers to keep a strict vigil and devise better strategies to curb all types of criminal activities including street crimes in the city.
He expressed satisfaction over the arrangements and commended the police and traffic teams for maintaining a peaceful atmosphere in and around the markets.
The market managements expressed gratitude over the security and thanked the police chief for his visit.
He assured the market managements of safety of peoples’ lives and properties by maintaining peace and order and thanked for their cooperation with the police.
