Model-turned-actor Saheefa Jabbar Khattak has always been vocal about her mental health issues. Recently, the Bhool star opened up about her struggle to keep up with the hectic "race" that allows people "no rest".

On Thursday, Khattak shared a video on her Instagram Story that detailed the "warning signs of burnout". Alongside, the clip, she elaborated her own experience of feeling the same way for the past few weeks.

"The past few weeks have been very challenging for me, everything appears to work so fast, I see no rest," began the Log Kya Kahenge actor. "There is some kind of race, and a few of us are unwillingly part of it too."

She then reminded her followers to take care of themselves amid their hefty schedules and avoid negativity at all costs. "Please take good care of yourself, eliminate all those people from your life who don't bring you joy or peace. Take a break when needed and just know everything will be fine," advised Khattak.

Over the past years, many celebrities such as Hania Aamir, Momina Mustehsan, Humaima Malick, Imran Abbas and Mawra Hocane have also come forward with their mental health battles, in an attempt to create awareness around the topic and normalise discussions about it.

In 2022, actor Yashma Gill had opened up about her struggle with depression to help raise awareness about it. Taking to her Instagram, Gill had penned an elaborate note saying, "I've talked about this before, talking about it again and will keep talking about it till it doesn't become normal. As someone who has had first-hand experience of depression, panic attacks, and anxiety so severe, I can't stress enough about the importance of reaching out and seeking help."

She continued, to emphasise on how people need to stop confusing depression with sadness. "Sadness and depression are two different emotional states with depression being way more difficult to carry. It's dark, hollow, emotionally debilitating, and can take a toll on your logical thinking leaving you feeling hopeless," she said.
