Malala Yousafzai is living it up with her husband, Asser Malik. In a recent post on Instagram, the youngest Nobel Prize laureate was seen thanking her husband for “the most thoughtful gifts,” while talking about her trip to Los Angeles.

“One of the many things I love about my husband Asser Malik,” she wrote in her caption while sharing a carousel of their pictures, “is that he gives the most thoughtful gifts (and yes, I’ve seen your comments about his other assets as well). On our recent trip to LA, he gave me these custom-painted shoes and I wore them for a visit to the Santa Monica pier.”

Malala announced her nikkah on November 9, 2021. The entire ordeal was an intimate affair in Birmingham. In a tweet, Malala shared, "Today marks a precious day in my life. Asser (Malik) and I tied the knot to be partners for life." She also posted images of herself and her new husband on their wedding day. "We celebrated a small nikkah ceremony at home in Birmingham with our families. Please send us your prayers. We are excited to walk together for the journey ahead," she added.

Asser, the lucky man who tied the knot with Malala in 2021, also took to Twitter to share his love and admiration for the women's rights activist. "In Malala, I found the most supportive friend, a beautiful and kind partner — I'm so excited to spend the rest of our life together. Thank you all for the wishes on our Nikkah. In following our cricket team's tradition, we had to do a victory cake cutting," Asser, who serves as the general manager at the Pakistan Cricket Board, wrote.
