KALLAR KAHAR:

The ongoing cultural mela at Kallar Kahar has been drawing large crowds and entertaining them with great fervour and zeal.

It is being held under the auspices of the Punjab Arts Council (PAC) and has been attracting visitors to the various stalls of artisans and artists. The fair features over 20 artisan stalls and offers traditional food, showcasing the diverse and unique cultures of this region.

On the occasion, Director PAC Waqar Ahmed addressed the participants of the musical night, highlighting the rich cultural heritage of Pakistan and its global recognition for its uniqueness. He also emphasised the significance of such cultural fairs in promoting messages of peace, tolerance, and humanity.

The historical significance of Kallar Kahar as a hub of scientific, literary, and cultural phenomenon was also highlighted by Assistant Director Muhammad Sulaiman, who praised the artistic talents of Punjab's folk singers, who have created their own tunes, accents, and folk songs.

On the second day of the event, renowned artist Faisal Raja took to the stage and gave a mesmerising performance as part of the musical programme.
