Flag-draped coffins of martyrs sent to their native towns

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah attended the funeral of two police constables, Ghulam Abbas Leghari, Mohammad Saeed, and the sweeper Ajmal Masih who laid their lives while fighting against the terrorists who attacked Karachi Police Office (KPO) on Friday evening.

The funeral was held at Central Police Office (CPO). The funeral services were organised with official protocol at the Central Police Office (CPO). The coffins of the martyrs were wrapped with the national flag.

Corps Commander Karachi, Lt Gen Babar Iftikhar, Chief Secretary Sohail Rajput, and IG police Ghulam Nabi Memon also attended the funeral.

On the occasion, the chief minister consoled the family members of martyrs and promised them that their families would be looked after properly by the Sindh government.

The flag-draped coffins were sent to the martyrs' native areas.

Speaking on the occasion, CM Murad said that the policemen, rangers, and the Pak army fought bravely with the terrorists and killed them.

He said that sacrifices of martyrs would always be remembered.

He added that the sweeper of KPO Ajmal Massih also sacrifised his life and proved that there was no need for any designation or responsibility to fight against the enemy.

Earlier, the CM also offered Namaz-e-Jinaza of Rangers Sub-inspector Taimur who also embraced the martyrdom while fighting the terrorists at KPO.

The funeral of the Rangers officer was held at Ranger headquarters in the evening.
