There is no possibility of a heatwave in Karachi and rural Sindh

The city is expected to experience another fog-laden start, while the weather is likely to remain hot for the next two days with the temperature expected to exceed 34 degrees Celsius, the met department said on Thursday.

The weather in rural areas of Sindh is also expected to stay extremely hot while the mercury may rise to 38 degrees Celsius. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Tharparkar, Umarkot and Badin will experience temperatures between 36 and 38 degrees. T

he PDM forecast says that dry weather is expected in other districts of Sindh province, whereas it may get cold at night.

There is no possibility of a heatwave in Karachi and rural Sindh. During a heatwave, the mercury exceeds 40 degrees. Permanent cessation of sea breezes and abnormal increases in humidity also cause heat waves. On Thursday, the maximum temperature in the city was recorded at 32.5 degrees Celsius while the humidity was recorded at 48%.
