A Kashmore-Kandhkot district based columnist of The Express Tribune was injured along with his two brothers in an alleged assault on Tuesday.
The injured columnist Ali Hassan Bangwar told The Express Tribune that the men of Suhriani cast had attacked him and his brothers named Raja Bangwar and Mukhtiar Bangwar over an alleged property dispute. He said that one of his brothers had sustained serious head injuries.
Bangwar said that his family has been involved in a decade-long dispute with Shoban Suhriani and others over a piece of residential land that his family bought from the latter.
"Although the land's possession was given to my family, the transfer of ownership in the revenue record has not been done so far," he said. He said that he had reminded Shuriani on Monday which resulted in the attack the next day.
SSP Irfan Samo also evaded making a comment in this regard. In his brief reply, the SSP told The Express Tribune that he had given directions to the police to solve the matter.
Bangwar claims the police is partial to Suhriani.
