Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shahbaz Gill has apologised to MNA Dr Ramesh Kumar for making inappropriate remarks against him. The apology came on Saturday, after Gill visited Dr Ramesh's residence.
In March of last year, during a talk show on a private TV channel, Gill had used profanities and abusive language against Dr Ramesh, calling him a "corrupt person." Dr Ramesh responded by sending a legal notice to Gill.
On Saturday, Gill expressed his regret for his previous remarks, saying, "You must have been hurt by what I said... I'm sorry for whatever happened between us." He added that minorities have equal rights in Pakistan.

Dr Ramesh accepted the apology, stating, "It's good to admit a mistake... the words you said to me on television hurt me but it's good that you have realised your mistake. You forgive someone who comes to your home [to seek forgiveness]."
