Private guards wearing LEA uniforms draw ire

CM requires all private security guards to wear uniforms different from official uniforms

PESHAWAR:

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Caretaker Chief Minister Muhammad Azam Khan has taken notice of private security guards of some political leaders wearing uniforms similar to the official uniforms of law enforcement agencies.

The CM has directed the chief secretary, the inspector general of police, and the home department to take necessary steps to effectively prevent such practices, including requiring all private security guards to wear uniforms that differ from the official uniforms of law enforcement agencies. The chief minister has said that it has been observed that some private security guards were wearing uniforms similar to those of the law enforcing agencies during political gatherings in recent days.
