He said the Kashmir dispute is not a power struggle, but the issue of freeing Kashmir from the illegal occupation of India. To date, millions of Kashmiris have laid down their lives for the freedom movement, he added. He further cleared that Kashmiris have only one demand that they should be given the right to self-determination.

He also said that Kashmiris deserve freedom and we are determined to bring the freedom movement of Kashmir to its logical conclusion. On the occasion, Director of Arts Council Waqar Ahmad said that the entire nation of Pakistan stands with the Kashmiris. He said that Indian oppression cannot suppress the spirit of freedom of Kashmiris and that every Kashmiri citizen loves Pakistan immensely.
