Classmate attacks 7-year-old on school premises, victims father demands action against admin over 'indifference'

A seven-year-old boy suffered burn injuries in an acid attack by his classmate in a government school in Sukkur.

According to details, the child, identified as seven-year-old Matiullah, suffered burn injuries on his face, legs and other body parts as his classmate, Hasnain threw acid on him in the school.

The victim's father demanded the authorities to take legal action against the school administration for 'expressing indifference' to the incident.

He also alleged that the school administration did not provide timely medical aid to the child that showed negligence on the matter.

In a statement, the victim said that his classmate Hasnain attacked him with acid, but the teachers refused to take any action despite his complaint.
