KARACHI:

The city’s upscale, secure eateries could hardly continue to be crime-free.

Citizens who came to the restaurant located on the food street of the Sindhi Muslim Cooperative Housing Society were robbed in broad daylight.

According to the details, three armed suspects entered the restaurant around two o’clock in the afternoon and robbed citizens who were there to eat in the restaurant at gunpoint.

They stole 13 mobile phones and cash from citizens and escaped.

The Firozabad police were contacted, and a victim filed a complaint against three unknown armed suspects at the Firozabad police station.

He said that the police had registered a case of the incident on the complaint of the victim citizen and started searching for the accused involved in the incident.

There was no security guard outside the restaurant at the time of the incident, and the police could not get the CCTV footage because the CCTV cameras installed in the restaurant were damaged.
