Two miners lost their lives in yet another blast inside a coalmine in the Orakzai tribal district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) on Saturday.
The tragic incident took place in Hono Sam area of the largely mountainous district which left one miner injured too. District Police Officer (DPO) Nazir Khan told The Express Tribune that a blast took place inside a coalmine and that three colliers were left trapped inside it.
He added that one miner was rescued in an injured condition while the two others were found dead. The injured was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Both the dead and injured hailed from Shangla district of K-P.
