Sindh govt changes service structure
Service structure has been changed in Sindh. As many as 1,486 posts of grade 17 to 21 have been upgraded in the province.
The posts in the Services General Administration and Coordination Department of Sindh will be upgraded from 17 to 21 grade.
The notification in this regard was issued after the approval of the Sindh Chief Minister.
Under the new notification, there will be 25 posts in grade 21 in Sindh.
The chairman planning and development will be an officer in grade 21 or 22, while the member senior board of revenue, chairman anticorruption, chairman chief minister’s inspection team, commissioners of all divisions, chairman provincial authority, Sindh governor, principal secretaries of the CM, secretary provincial ombudsman, additional chief secretary will be grade 21 officers.
The post of secretary of environment and alternative energy, wildlife, forest, slum special department, school education and literacy, health, and finance department will also be in grade 21.
The posts of AD SAF, member land utilisation, board of revenue will also be in grade 21.
Under the new decree, there will be 25 posts of 21 grade and 68 of 20 grade.
Secretary services, secretary GA, secretary law and parliamentary affairs, secretary human rights, home department, excise and taxation, food, secretary labour will be in grade 20.
There will be 83 posts in grade 19 of DG, director, member, chairman municipal commissioner, and additional secretaries of various departments.
DCs of 19 grades will be appointed in 29 districts of the revenue department.
In the non-revenue field, 277 officers of various departments will be in grade 19, while the total number of posts of grade 18 will be 341.
For grade 17, there will be 240 officers of revenue and non-revenue departments.
