E-health system launched for ICT police
Islamabad police have introduced an e-health system to improve the provision of health facilities to the personnel.
Speaking about the newly-launched “Capital Police E-health System”, Islamabad Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Akbar Nasir Khan said that personnel of the force face risk of diseases like heart attack, blood pressure, mental stress due to old age, and tough duties.
He further stated that this system would help to ensure timely medical checkups and treatment of the officials.
The IGP also said that the pilot project of the system has been started under the supervision of DIG Headquarters and it would be made fully operational by December 31, 2022. A statement issued in this regard stated that the system was being launched to ensure the fitness of personnel by reducing health-related risks.
