P@SHA organises annual award ceremony

Event brings together all the investors, policymakers, startups and IT companies in Pakistan

Last night witnessed the biggest tech celebrations in Pakistan as being the pioneer and the oldest ICT Association, P@SHA organised its annual award ceremony to bring together all the investors, policymakers, startups and IT companies in Pakistan.

P@SHA ICT Awards are Pakistan’s most trustworthy and internationally recognised technology awards in which all the tech startups, distributed in different categories regarding their fields of speciality, compete against each other and test their mettle in the field of technology.

Bookme.pk has added another to its list of accolades with outstanding contributions towards the technology revolution in Pakistan. Yet again with the vision of creating a positive change in the travel and tourism industry of Pakistan, Bookme.pk has lifted the Gold Award in Tourism and Hospitality in the Annual P@ASHA ICT Awards by winning the triumph over all the nominees in this category.

This year these awards were held on 2nd November in Lahore where 100+ IT companies and startups participated and many stalwarts of technology became a part of the P@SHA ICT Awards ceremony.

Among all the startups and companies in 42 different categories, the Lakson Investments funded Pakistan’s leading e-ticketing startup which has been adding value to the travel industry by its innovation since 2008, Bookme.pk outranked every nominee by winning the Gold Award in the Tourism and Hospitality.

Bookme.pk, which raised an investment round of $7.5 Million last year, is facilitating the lives of more than 8 million people across the country with its innovative digital booking services in different verticals. Be it buses, movies, flights, car rental and events.

Furthermore, as the official ticketing partner of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Bookme is providing ease to cricket fans with the availability of e-tickets for all the cricket tournaments happening in Pakistan.
