The majority of RTCs, 72 percent, involved motorbikes

At least 13 people died and 1,171 were injured in 1,128 Road Traffic Crashes (RTCs) reported across all 37 districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours.

Of the injured, 648 people with serious injuries were shifted to different hospitals, while 523 victims with minor injuries were treated at the incident site.

The majority of RTCs, 72 percent, involved motorbikes. As many as 34 underage drivers, 136 pedestrians, and 496 passengers were among the victims of RTCs.

The statistics show that 284 RTCs were reported in Lahore with 284 victims, placing the Provincial Capital at top of the list.

Multan followed behind with 98 RTCs and 108 victims and Gujranwala at third with 84 RTCs and 78 victims. Around 1,120 victims were affected by RTCs, including 921 males and 209 females.
