Man killed over old enmity in Pindi

SHO Ganjmandi Nazim Abbas said that Bahadur Khan was accused of killing opponents in Kohistan



RAWALPINDI:

A man was killed while another injured in a firing incident that took place within the limits of Ganjmundi police station in Rawalpindi on Wednesday.

According to the police, the injured victim, Younis, said that Bahadur Khan and Yousuf Khan were working as hard labourers in Kahota and were on a shopping visit to City Saddar Road.

He added that they were present at a shop to buy goods, when suspect Hussain, Ayub and Doula came there armed and opened indiscriminate firing, due to which Bahadur Khan and the complainant got seriously injured. Bahadur Khan died while he was being shifted to the hospital while the accused escaped while continuing firing.

The police registered a case after collecting forensic evidence from the scene and claimed that the reason for the murder is the long-standing enmity.

SHO Ganjmandi Nazim Abbas said that Bahadur Khan was accused of killing opponents in Kohistan. Owing to the same altercation, the opposite party killed the aforementioned and injured the other. Inspector Nazim said that police are looking into the case.
