ISLAMABAD:

Several female students of the Government Girls High School, Kallar Syedan No.2 are forced to sit on the floor during classes because of the lack of insufficient furniture.

Sources said that only 600 chairs are available in the school with a population of 850 female students, unfortunately, the rest of the girls have to be seated on the floor.

Similarly, the school also lacks additional rooms, more teaching staff as well as non-teaching staff. Students enrolled in the science courses face difficulty due to the absence of a science lab.

Those who are enrolled in computer courses do have a computer lab to go to but no computer teacher present to teach them the courses.

Moreover, no clerk is present in the school due to which the in-charge headmistress is overburdened with several administrative tasks and is unable to focus on teaching-related matters.

There’s not even a separate office for female employees due to which they are forced to use the office of the headmistress.
