Ex-manager of filling station tipped robbers regarding cash transfer details

Rizvia Society Police arrested two suspects who looted money from a petrol pump manager outside a bank on Shahrahe Pakistan.

Rizvia Society Police, acting on intelligence, arrested two suspects, Azizullah Muhammad Ismail and Sohail Iqbal Aurangzeb.

Police recovered from their possession two pistols, 30 bore-loaded magazines, Rs0.7 million from the looted money from the pump manager and a motorcycle stolen from North Nazimabad.

According to Rizvia police, on September 26, the petrol pump manager came to deposit Rs7 million at a bank located in the limits of Samanabad police station.

The suspects stalked the manager from the pump and fled after looting the money outside the bank. Azizullah and Sohail were assisted by accomplices Naeem Nuno and Babur.

During the investigation, the arrested suspects revealed that Babur gave the tip of the incident to Sohail and that the former manager of the pump and the puncture shop worker tipped Babur.

The manager had stated in the FIR that the robbers managed to steal Rs3 million out of Rs7 million he had come to deposit.
