In pursuit of innovative education through advanced information and communication technology, smart classrooms at male and female campuses of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) were inaugurated by President (IIUI) Dr Hathal Homoud Alotaibi on Thursday.

IIUI President was briefed that live and interactive smart classrooms are expected to provide required faculty sharing along with e-learning and visual desktop infustructure (VDI).

The planned platforms are also expected to fortify distance and blended learning. Students will utilise the facility both at the undergraduate and graduate levels to access quality faculty, which will ultimately help the institution improve its standards of education.

The IIUI president said that smart classrooms are needed as the world has shrunk, and now it is the age of e-learning.
