Two alleged burglars netted in capital

Police registered a case and started an investigation

ISLAMABAD:

Islamabad police apprehended two alleged burglars and recovered looted cash worth Rs10 million and valuables from their possession, a police public relations officer said.

He said that a citizen had file an application in PS Bhara Kahu office on August 9 that he had gone to his native town during Muharram holidays, when he returned back to his residence in Islamabad, he found his house’s lock broken. When he checked, gold jewelry and cash were missing.

Police registered a case and started an investigation. On the instructions of SP City teams were constituted which used latest technology and human resources to trace the burglars and arrested them. They recovered cash and valuable items from their possession.

The burglars were identified as Tariq Khan, son of Khalid Khan, and Sabeel Muhammad, son of Khan Muhammad. The recovered money and gold ornaments were handed over to the citizen who appreciated the efforts of the police teams, the spokesperson said adding that the capital police were committed to rooting out the menace of robbery and burglary from the city to safeguard the property of citizens.
