Man involved in killing of his nephew arrested

According to police, the suspect was arrested with the help of modern technology and human intelligence

Police on Tuesday arrested a man, who was on the run after allegedly stabbed his nephew to death over a domestic dispute, after two months of the incident.

According to police, the suspect Muhammad Naeem was arrested with the help of modern technology and human intelligence.

They said that Naeem killed his nephew after being enraged over a domestic dispute. A case of the incident was registered at Bani police station two months ago by Liaquat.

Meanwhile, police arrested four illegal arms holders and recovered weapons and ammunition from their possession during the operation, informed a police spokesman yesterday. During the course of the operation, R.A Bazar police arrested Arshad and recovered one 30-bore pistol from his possession.

Similarly, Saddar Wah police held Arsalan and recovered a 30-bore pistol from his custody. Meanwhile, Chontra police arrested two accused, Raees and Imran Ashraf, recovering two pistols and 30 rounds of ammunition from their possession. Police have registered separate cases against all the accused, with further investigation in progression.
