FC Area school surrounding cleared of sewage, rainwater
The fate of FC Area Government School shined after the news was aired in Express News and published in The Express Tribune. The school problems were solved to a great extent with the support of Pakistan Rangers, Sindh higher authorities and local bodies.
After cleaning the sewage water at school, mosquito killing spray was used. The faces of the school students and their parents lit up with joy and they expressed special thanks to Express News, Sindh Rangers and local bodies for their efforts to resolve the situation.
The news was telecast by Express News and published in The Express Tribune. The senior officials of Pakistan Rangers Sindh and local bodies not only took notice of this dire situation but immediately started the cleaning campaign.
Shahnaz Akhtar, a resident of the area, said that after so many years, cleaning has been done outside the government school of FC area with the cooperation of Sindh Rangers and local bodies, which is an excellent practice and it should continue.
Sarmad, a resident of the area, said that after the news was aired in the Express News, Pakistan Rangers have taken timely cleaning measures to make the lives of school children, teachers and residents safe, which is a good effort.
Shahbaz, a resident of the area, said that cleaning has been done outside the school, but the main problem is the restoration of sewage lines. He hoped this matter will also be resolved soon.
Resident of the area Kashif Khan said that the residents of the area are grateful to Pakistan Rangers Sindh Sachal Sector Commander Brigadier Altaf, 33 Wing Commander Sachal Rangers Colonel Waqas and the local body for carrying out the cleaning process.
Deputy Commissioner and Administrator DMC Central Taha Salim said that cleaning has been done around the school and the mosquito repellent had also been sprayed and that more cooperation and practical measures will be taken in this regard.
Pak PWD FC Area Executive Engineer Mustafa Laghari said that the water board has been directed for the maintenance of sewerage lines.
