Day of mourning: All schools closed today

Schools closed in light of a decision by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement to mark it as a day of mourning.

KARACHI: Major private and government schools have decided to stay shut today, Tuesday, in light of a decision by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement to mark it as a day of mourning. At least 15 people were shot dead on Monday. The University of Karachi has postponed exams. The private schools association said that all their partner institutions will remain closed.
