Two unidentified assailants riding a motorcycle shot dead a woman outside her house in the Bagrah area of Haripur late on Tuesday.
Police said that the suspects killed her over a property dispute and fled. The woman was identified as the wife of Arshad and the couple had four children.
A case has been registered against unidentified men. In a separate incident, a 25-year-old man drowned in the Tarbela Lake while bathing on Tuesday. Rescue workers fished out his body and handed it over to the family.
In a separate case, a 20-year-old man named Umar Aurangzeb died when his motorcycle skidded near Malikyar village on Wednesday. Police said that he was a resident of Pind Hashim Khan.
The body was shifted to a nearby hospital.
Meanwhile, at least 10 goats of a man named Muddassir Chanzeb were poisoned to death in the Union Council Bet Gali on Wednesday.
Chanzeb informed the police that an influential man in his area fed the goats with some poisonous food and they died. Police registered a case and started an investigation.
