Multiple attempted sexual assault cases reported

FAISALABAD:

Several cases of attempted sexual assault have been reported in Faisalabad, with police launching raids to apprehend the accused.

Police said in the Nishatabad area on Dive Road, Ismail Valley, Saifur Rehman allegedly entered the house of Ehtisham's wife and tried to sexually assault her at gunpoint.

He reportedly recorded a video of the incident and threatened to blackmail her by circulating it on social media. The victim informed her husband, who works in Islamabad, prompting Nishatabad police to register a case and begin searching for the suspect.

In Bawa Chak, Ali Town, Khalid Muhammad, a resident of Bahria Road, Lahore, allegedly attempted to sexually assault 22-year-old girl.

The attempt was foiled when neighbours intervened and handed the accused over to the police.

In other incidents, in Chak 481 GB, Mehran's sister-in-law was allegedly targeted by Wazir Ali, and in 147 GB, Khizar Hayat's son (name withheld) was allegedly targeted by Ikram.

In both cases, the police have registered FIRs and launched raids to apprehend the suspects.
