Seven terrorists killed in North Waziristan

Militants remained actively involved in several terror activities against the security forces, says ISPR

Security forces on Sunday killed seven terrorists in an exchange of fire in North Waziristan district, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

According to the military’s media wing, weapons and ammunition were recovered from the killed terrorists in Ghulam Khan KaIle area who remained actively involved in several terror activities against the security forces.

During the intense exchange of fire, the ISPR said, Subedar Munir Hussain (age 44 years, resident of Parachinar, Kurram) and Havildar Babu Khan (age 38 years, resident of DI Khan), having fought gallantly, embraced martyrdom.

The clearance of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the vicinity, it added.
A day earlier, at least four terrorists were killed in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Dossali general area of North Waziristan district, the military said in a statement.

The ISPR said weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists.

A week ago, an army soldier was martyred in clashes with terrorists in the Miranshah area of North Waziristan.
