Security forces kill four terrorists in North Waziristan IBO

ISPR says those killed were actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces

RAWALPINDI:

At least four terrorists were killed in an intelligence based operation (IBO) in the Dossali general area of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan district, the military said in a statement on Saturday.
The Inter-Services Public Relations said that weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists.

The military's media wing added that those killed remained actively involved in terrorist activities against the security forces.

A week ago, an army soldier was martyred in clashes with terrorists in the Miranshah area of North Waziristan.
During the intense exchange of fire, a terrorist was killed and weapons and ammunition were recovered from him. A 32-year-old resident of Charsadda was also martyred in the firing.
Earlier, a sepoy embraced martyrdom after fighting gallantly in an exchange of fire with terrorists in the general Datta Khel area of North Waziristan.
On Friday, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa exalted the role of armed forces in tackling the national security challenges proficiently.
He made the remarks while addressing the participants of 51st PN Staff Course at Pakistan Navy War College in Lahore.
