Motorway Police holds safety workshop

'Conducting traffic awareness seminars was of utmost importance to reduce accidents'

The National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP) M-4 conducted a road safety seminar at WAPDA Regional Training Institute on Friday.

Sector Commander Motorway Police M-4 Javed Iqbal Chadhar participated in the seminar, stating that conducting traffic awareness seminars was of utmost importance to reduce accidents. It is the public’s responsibility to follow the traffic rules and make the country safer and more secure, he added.

DSP Muhammad Hassan Bhatti and Inspector Gulzar Hussain delivered lectures on the importance of road safety among the participants and briefed particpants about the “No More” and “Driving License Per Merit Point” systems implemented by the Motorway Police.

Principal Regional Training Institute WAPDA Engineer Abdul Rehman and XEN Ghulam Jilani proposed to Sector Commander Chadhar to conduct future road safety seminars on a regular basis.
