Water quality testing workshop held

The Quality Control Centre (QCC) of the Pakistan Standard and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) organised an awareness and training workshop regarding microbiological testing in water on Wednesday.

QCC Director Engineer Khurram Mateen informed the participants about the importance of testing water and the role of the PSQCA in standardisation.

QCC Assistant Director Dr Imran Khan delivered a lecture to raise awareness among the participants about the process of microbiological testing of water and water-borne diseases.

The participants praised QCC for arranging the workshop and called for additional workshops in the future. Water Association representatives Muhammad Wasif and Ata Muhyuddin, representative from private laboratories and industries, consultants and students also attended the workshop
